It was shot with a Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 G2 lens on my Nikon D850. I know that lens has gotten some negative reviews on its sharpness with the D850, but I think like most lenses there is a sweet spot where a lens excels. I found for this lens this is at f4-7.3 or so.
As a Nikon user all my life, I have always bought only Nikon lenses before. But the new generation of Tamron and Sigma lenses have changed my mind. I bought three of them this year!
I've been a Nikon guy ever since I went digital from film. Always bought Nikon lenses although I always thought they were way out of line with their prices. Finally went with a Tokina ultra wide zoom after shopping around and reading reviews. It's an outstanding lens! I bought a Tamron 200 to 500mm about 10 years ago. It was OK but not great so I broke down and went back to Nikon with their newer 200 to 500mm and I'm very happy with it. But I would recommend to anyone to take a look at Tokina next time they are shopping for a new lens.
As I said in an earlier response, Great photo of the arch.
