The Gingers are stunning Carol love those flowers. Difficult to winter where I live. Great set.

Thank you, Sylvia. Guess they are on the semi-tropical side. Not to worry, I post them every year!

Yesterday morning I made my usual early morning trip to the back yard to feed the birds and check on the latest flowers to open. In the distant corner dedicated to Gingers, I encountered a garden angel. Her pristine beauty immediately compelled me to fetch a camera. She was glowing in the early light.

The angel, my first white ginger blossom for this season, led me to photograph some of the other Gingers in the immediate area. After that, on my way back inside, I encountered a sunny buttercup and also a wild red Morning Glory (a weed). As if these weren't enough, a large, beautiful Tiger Swallowtail showed up to nectar and pose as well. What a great start to the day!

Thank you, Merry. That gingers caught my eye. The earlylight knit was so beautiful. Angel is just what came to my mind. I enjoy my little ginger garden area.

Beautiful set Carol. I have never seen gingers before...gorgeous flowers. At the location where I took most of the insect/lizard/hover fly/bee photos I've posted, there were buttercups everywhere. The red morning glory is beautiful. Our wild ones were always a drab purple color, nothing that spectacular.

Thank you! The gingers are neat because the blossoms last for weeks. They fade a little but are still very pretty. I planted one buttercup originally and now there are dozens. A lot of my garden is like that, doing its own thing. The morning glory is a lot smaller than other I have seen but it is very pretty. It also grows wherever it gets the chance.
