Very nice, Joe. The flash controlled the background on the daylily shot and it is very striking. Little bird is sharp and clear eyed!

Thank you Carol for the comments. Actually I used the flash on the bird. Check the EXIF data.

The daylily is terrific. Colors, DOF, background,focus-all good. Not so easy taken from the side like you did.
