I agree with marine73.
Brake fluid is Hygroscopic and will absorb water into it which under certain hard braking will cause a "vapor pocket" which will cause a momentary loss of braking ability.

My oil change guy wanted $34.00 for a new air filter. I declined. Bought one on Amazon for $12.00. Opened two clips and installed it myself!
About the same story for an air filter on our 2017 2.5l Mazda3. Around $30 for the filter, AND about $25 for labor! What labor?? Undid 2 clips and installed the filter, took perhaps 5 minutes.
Then do it yourself buddy.
I understand your view of that job, but when you are having it done by a shop, you have to think of their expenses and overhead, as I mentioned, a steak bought and cooked at home is a lot cheaper than in a restaurant...
I have a few friends in retail management.
One guy claims it's $5 for a minimal transaction. You only bought that $4 brick of water-
he made $.35 off the brick, so he only lost $.65 on you. $.75 if he gave you a bag. Smile.
I had asked him if he was another "upscaler", nothing less than $2 anymore.
