As unbelievable as it sounds, Sheriff Joe will be addressing the GOP at the Convention in Tampa.
I know that all conventions are a circus but this one should start by playing, "Send In The Clowns" instead of the National Anthem.

If we had a national sheriff, I'd vote for Joe.

I'm a little jealous....

At Tampa we get the likes of Joe the Sheriff..

And at the Dem Conviction, you have the Honorable Joe Biden...

Sniff, sniff, it just dosen't seem fair.............

Tom Morrissey, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party..........described the Sheriff as “a good friend and a great Republican” who is “wildly popular not just in Maricopa County but throughout the state and the country.”

He left out the part about Sheriff Joe being wildly popular with the late night stand up comedians.

Can one of you Sheriff Joe supporters tell me what exactly appeals to you about this man.Is it that he can't accept the President being born in Hawaii despite all evidence that says he was? Is it the fact he makes male prisoners wear pink underwear?
Seriously, give me one paragraph on why you think this person represents the values that the Republican Party wants to project and who you think he will appeal to.

What appeals to me ?

Well I don't (or at least didn't until this post ) know or care what party he belonged to.

What I did like about him:

1. Pink clothes for prisoners ( good for long distance sniper shooting on break outs)
2. Tents and cots for sleeping ( no expensive tempurpedics eh )
3. 1 slice of baloney for lunch ( ah gee Mom, I don't get steak and eggs or spagetting and meata balls ? )
4. No television out in the tents. (Bummer)
5. No nautilis gym facilities ? ( Do push-ups in the dirt !)
6. No air conditioned cells with running water and desks and bookshelves? (Hey - you're a convicted criminal you dip )

Sarge :?

Here's my paragraph:

-----

The good sheriff, although not a perfect man, is a person of principles ... who also has common sense and decent values. He tries to do his small part to keep America from being dominated by law defying people who seek to overthrow everything that makes America a great country.

It has nothing to do with politics. He represents the law and does a better job of it irregardless of the criticism he gets.

I like him because he is a national joke and shows so clearly how wacko the Republican Party is becoming.

irregardless is not in the dictionary but that's me just being picky.

Sheriff Joe is not a joke, he's a role model for incarceration of the criminal element.

Thank God Sheriff Joe is not a democrat. Otherwise he would roll over and play dead when these illegal criminals from all over the world sneak across our border. GO JOE!

I agree lots of people see him as something of a clown. But here in Phoenix we love Joe because, and this goes all the way to the top in the Oval Office,
Joe is about the only guy actually trying to do something with our southern boarder. He's the only guy who's not afraid to stand up to Obama when it comes to illegal immigration and the major war like problems we have on our boarder.

He's up for re-election in November and Phoenix is expecting another land slide for Joe.

Let's see...Joe Arpaio or Joe Biden? I believe it is the Democrats who should be playing, "Send in the Clowns".
