Great shots! Haven't photographed butterflies and bees for a long time. Your images draw me towards going out for them again. Thanks!

Thank you. Your shots are always a treat, and something for me to try and equal.

Lovely! We need to plant more milkweed for those beauties!

Thanks, I have one main type in my yard that spreads on its own and seeds for 3 or 4 others. I got all the stuff to start seedlings of those varieties and just need the spirit to move me to get them started and transplanted into the flower beds.

Here in So California I read an article in the local paper that said most of the landscape architects doing work for the state, county and cities now include milkweed or other butterfly friendly plants in their designs.

Good stuff Robert.

For the first time ever my milkweed has returned, even in places I never planted it. Mother Nature works in her own mysterious ways.

Thanks so much. There are a couple of companies on Amazon with seeds for several varieties of milkweed.

Wish more people would plant milkweed and other plants favored by our declining pollinators. Thank you for your photos & hope you get to transplant your potted plants so they can multiply.

Welcome to the "some day" club. Or you can use the Spanish "Manana" and have a theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64qYKrJNt6c
