Yeah, I got my ZS6 at Costco when they came out, then it somehow got a large piece of lint inside the zoom lens after the warranty ran out and I sent it off to be fixed, instead they sent me a different camera, same model, refurbished, much newer by the serial number and charged me a % based on age still less than 50% of new. This one is also better sealed than my original which was 1st production run.
