Pretty girl; that’s a lot of ink - what will it look like when she’s 60?

I don't care, because by the time she reaches 60, I'll be long gone, and so, I imagine, will be you. So you shouldn't make a thing out of it.

I suppose she will have to not only visit the plastic surgeon but an art restorer.....

No, it doesn't revolve around me any more that it revolves around you. As to her offspring, that's her problem and theirs. It's just as possible that they will think shes a great granny and the ink is whatever the word for cool will be, as they will hate it. There of a different generation. I suspect I could find something wrong with you and flog it on the net, but I'm not that kind of person.

The point is, her ink is none of your business and none of mine.

We can certainly have an opinion about it, can't we? Or have you become the opinion police on the forum?

I will echo, no-ones business about her tat's. She is a beautiful young woman, in some beautiful poses. I for one would love to see more of her, and, showing off all her tattoos.

If it out there for display then I can certainly have an opinion about it, can't I?

Apparently not, as I’m told in no uncertain terms that it’s nobody’s bid-nezz.

And that was just after I asked the general question of what they would look like in 30+ years, regardless of how pretty they are now.

Plus the first image still looks a bit soft to me - that part of my comment apparently got missed. ‘Cause, you know, I’m a big ole meanie.

Pretty woman, too bad she doesn't appreciate the natural look of her body.

Humans have been altering their appearance for a long time. Probably for as long as we have been human beings. There are no doubt some cultures that would look at the stereotypical female "western" model with great disgust. Painted on lips, rouged cheeks, enhanced or artificial eyelashes and more come to mind. That isn't the "natural look of her body". Tattoos, piercings or other body modifications aren't a whole lot different. They may seem "different" or "odd" or even"ugly" to some of us, but in the end, it comes down to the personal choice of the woman (or man) who is applying what they feel is an enhancement to their body.

I don't have any tattoos, and don't plan on any, but I wouldn't shy away from photographing them. Some of the comments here a simply blatant manifestations of the posters narrow-mindedness.

What that model, or anyone else chooses to do with her body, is her business. Period. If you don't like tattoos, skip to the next post. Nobody will miss your snarky and parochial comments. At least I won't. I sure wouldn't miss wading through all the muck to find comments on the merits of the photography itself.

Without the tats, there will be no "muck". Without the tats, the photos will have merit to comment on.

You are correct. What she does with her body is her business but I am certainly entitled to express my opinion.

I like all three images. Someone mentioned some softness in the first. I think in this setting it's appropriate, whether it was intentional or not. I think the two bedroom pics would look better with the exposure increased a tad and the 2nd image softened slightly. The third image, in my opinion, is really well done.

As for Ink, I am torn. Personally, I've always preferred models without tattoos, then my wife and primary model went out with our daughter and got one. It put me in a tricky spot.

As a photographer, if you don't like models with ink, you don't book models ink. When you're looking at images here and the model is heavily tattooed, the ink obviously wasn't an issue for the photographer who hired or asked the model to pose.

Again, many of you who will never shoot a nude seem to get hung up on your personal concept of beauty when you evaluate these posts. You're entitled to your opinion, but recording it here adds nothing for the discussion of the photographic aspects of the images. Some of you voice your dislike of inked models every time one is offered and never comment on anything else. There is a difference in offering constructive criticism and letting the photographer know you find his subject personally unattractive.

The ink, in my opinion, is only relevant because it is a huge distraction to my eye. YMMV.

You may have you own opinion about it, and are free to share it on the tattoo web forum. This is a photo site, and we should keep our opinions that degrade others to ourselves. I have noticed in the year or so that I have visited here that this forum is largely the province of arrogant bullies. There are a few with opinions that I respect, like brothers Burk and Shapiro, but I don't understand the need to say "I can't understand how such an attractive woman can make herself so ugly with that ink." What does that have to do with photography, nude or otherwise? And how do you think you make the subject feel when she reads you stupid comments?

This has become a forum for blowhards who are likely afraid to express their own opinions in public and wish to control all our population to act and be in their own image.

Most of the young women I shoot have tats, too. I prefer a clean look, but that's just what is being done now and is an important element of that culture. I think your pix are excellent and she is indeed beautiful. Thanks!
