It's been raining buckets here in Michigan, hence outdoor shoots have not been possible. Fortunately I
enjoy creating still life images and hope you'll find them interesting. Without too many esoteric details, here's a bit about image 2. The cat was given to me in 1946 by my husband's father. The cup & saucer I bought in Norway are Copenhagen porcelain made in Denmark.
I very much appreciate comments and welcome constructive criticism.

Composition, exposure, depth of field, color, focus...

Excellent!

The originals must be larger and better than the downloads I see here, though.

Loved them all. You did a great job on these. Much better than anything I could ever do. I enjoy seeing others valuable keepsakes as well. Life is precious and so are the things we save on the journey.

These are very nice images, Annie, and a couple of them are stunning. I especially like the cup and plate in image #2. You are very adept at composition. I will be doing some of that sort of photos as I transition out of more active subjects (due to severe arthritis). Have a fun and hopefully dry (weather) 4th of July.

What everyone has already said.

I like the 'hands' picture ...both for the cleverness of the design and the skill of your composition in sharing it with us.

Thank you, Ralph, for that pleasing response. Sorry your arthritis is causing you to give up the
active shots you've enjoyed and do so well. God bless!
