Black squirrel vs. our feeder
This determined little guy kept trying to get to the seeds. He took his lumps falling 10 ft. to the ground from the feeder but that didn't stop the attempts. We don't see many black squirrels around here.
Great serious of the squirrel! Nicely done!
Boy! He's a determined little thing! Wonder if that feeder would work on raccoons, too?
Great entertaining series of pics!
I meant series not serious. Sorry!
Nice shots! That takes me back - when I was a kid the neighborhood where I lived had nearly all black squirrels! Hadn't thought about that in years.

We've had this feeder for about 5 yrs. and the only way I've seen the squirrels get seeds is by dive bombing the feeder the eating the seeds that are knocked out of the feeder.

Excellent! Have you tried a Twirl-A-Squirrel? Good fun.

I think the feeder won! I believe I hear it chuckling. My dog loves to chase those little balls of fur. One time, she caught it and brought it home.
Get shots, and a very determined little rascal!
The only place I’ve ever seen a black squirrel was in Brooklyn NY, and the Bronx zoo where they run wild.
