I just stumbled upon this site and decided to join. I am barely a step or two above novice photographer. I took a class 35 yrs. ago, but have forgotten a lot of what I learned. My camera is a Nikon D40. I thought I may learn a few tricks here.

Welcome to the forum. Don't let anyone kid you. The D40 is a capable camera. Better than many of the photographers who own one. Post something for us to see.
