Left Hand Drive Versus Right Hand Drive. Logic And Reason

As far as the name calling issue look again. I said you would have to be an idiot to believe.... That is implying that you might be, but it is not expressly stated while you specifically called others dickheads. There is a totally different level.
ROFL Tears of mirth. This has made my day... and it's only 9:45am here.

I understand that FIA governs a lot of racing, it is the argument that because racing isn't governed by them it isn't really race cars that I object to. It's a rather snobbish attitude about the sport of racing.
"I understand that FIA governs a lot of racing... You're a master of understatement btbg. Keep up the good work.
"It is the argument that because racing isn't governed by them it isn't really race cars that I object to"I don't know whos argument you are referring to. It sure as heck is not mine.
In fact, if you ask me, Indy Cars are "Racing Cars". So you are incorrect. The argument you cite does not exist. Your point is... pointless. Ergo "The snobbish attitiude you find objectionable, is a creation of your own imagination.
In a nut shell, you find your own imagination objectionable. ROFL
Just for the record, as far as I know, Indy cars do not comply to
any FIA formulas. Chances are though, Jean Todt might like to describe an Indy car as an American
"racing car".
One last thing, you keep referring to race cars. The issue is not race cars it is "racing cars"...
a minor point, but lets not muddy the waters any more than you lot already have.

What the heck are you talking about. You are still saying that nascar isn't racing cars and you have over and over again in your argument said it isn't my definition it's FIAs definition.
Apparently it isn't a minor point since you are quite vociferously arguing that point. If the cars are purpose made for racing a rational person would say that they are racing cars.

Let’s all remember thatTeam McClaren was unable to qualify a car for this years Indy 500. They do race formula 1 don’t they?
When at home, USA, I drive on the right hand side. When in Great Britain, Australia, Thailand or any other country with left hand driving, I drive on the left side. It isn't a real challenge to get to the correct side of the road. All it takes is a near head on collision to make you pay attention. Nuf Said!

As most cars have auto transmissions the right or left thing is an angels on a pin thing. I learned to drive with the shift lever on the right. Never had a problem holding the wheel with my left hand.

Most rental cars in the UK have manual transmissions with the shifter on your left. Nothing else threw me about renting cars over there except for shifting through gears with my left hand. My brain couldn't handle it, even though I was very experienced with manual transmission cars in the US. I just started renting automatics while on vacation over there, but as I said earlier, I've found options limited when actually arriving at the airport.

Infinion/Sears Point/Sonoma is clockwise though.
However, the best track in the U.S., which happens to be about 3 hours south of Sears Point, is counter/anti-clockwise. Of course I'm referring to Laguna Seca. I like them both and am fortunate to live between them and have been to both many times. I worked on the timing crew at the first race held at Sears Point and timed many races at both. I now am happy to just be a spectator and have been to Laguna Seca twice this year; I'll be there on consecutive weekends next month for the IMSA and IndyCar races.
I'm left-handed, but actually somewhat ambidextrous. I write left-handed, throw right-handed, swing a bat or golf club left-handed, my right arm is a little stronger than my left arm and I can pound nails with either hand. I'm comfortable driving on the right side of the road and shifting with my right hand. I prefer driving a manual transmission car and double-clutch my downshifts, a habit I got into with my first car, a 6 year old 1960 Mini with badly worn synchros. I sometimes heel and toe just for the fun of it. I often try to step on the clutch pedal when I get in one of my cars with an automatic transmission.
