AI to the rescue

I am going through my old photos and deleting stuff left and right; photos that should never have been kept in the first place - just plain O/O/F or blurred by camera movement. There are some photos that are bad and I knew it at the time but just could not bring myself to throw out. Below is one such photo - the original and the AI processed. True, the AI processed did not make the photo into a "Winner" but it did improve it enough for me to show it to people. AI is here to stay.

AI does a great job, Howard. What program is it and where can I get it?

EXIF reports PSE was the software.
Filename says "copy, stabilize, sharpen.

Wow - that's quite a difference! I am using the AI feature in Luminar 3 more and more with landscape shots because it is giving me the exact effect that I'm looking for.

Yes indeed. I find I am always using Topaz Adjust A.I. & Denoise A.I. now on lots of images, Sharpen A.I. on a few. A.I. Has become a handy tool to add to the box for sure!

I ran it through "Topaz Sharpen". This program has 3 sharpening options SHARPEN / STABILIZE / FOCUS
I used Stabilize first and ran it through again using Sharpen at it's default value. Sort'a like polishing it up.

As I wrote, this was a photo that I've had for a while. Originally I did use PSE (that's where the COPY comes from) but the recent editing was done with Topaz SHARPEN.

I can say that AI (artificial intelligence) incorporated in editing softwares are very capable of enhancing photographs. I use Topaz Adjust AI which I am still learning but so far my results using AI have been very pleasant.
I am posting an example and I apologize because I do not have the original for comparison but believe me, the changes have been dramatic. I usually cut down on the effect to make it more pleasant to the eye. In this particular case I also corrected an extra red cast not present in the original that was added by AI.

As we learn more about it I am sure we will be seeing better quality images.

I have been using Photolemur3 from Skylum. I'm quite happy with what it does. I usually move the strength slider o 50 to 60 %. (Full lemur can be overpowering)
