My Nikon D 5300.
When taking a picture using my View Finder / Eyepiece I Hear ONE Click.
When taking a picture using live view / LCD Monitor I Hear TWO Clicks.
Both are with same settings.

WHY ???

One click is mirror movement and shutter in unison.
Two clicks is same, but Live View reactivating after the shot.
No mystery

In live view the shutter has to close and reopen, since the pixels are open to view the image. With the mirror it is already closed.

Without electronic first curtain it closes, opens, closes then opens.
With electronic first curtain it closes and opens.
