Took this the other day but had a problem deciding which I liked. The original had the fly but felt it distracted so I remove it. My wife said the fly made it unique and liked it best, what do you guys think?

I like the one without the fly because the fly is so small and not sharp. In fact I did not see the fly till you mentioned it.

I personally have no problem with insects or other blemishes if they appear natural. I like to portray nature as it is at times. I believe there is room for both, the perfect pic and the realty that exists in nature. Some times it works for an advantage it seems.

If the flower is the subject, the fly is a distraction!

Print them both large and mount them side by side. See if anyone figures it out.

The fly is rather small in proportion to the flower. Adds little in my opinion. Had it been a much larger bee or butterfly then we might have something to discuss.

I am prejudiced against certain insects; flies are in that category. If a ladybug, butterfly, praying mantis... or any arachnid, I'd vote to keep it

They are both nice, but I’d go without the fly because it is not particularly prominent.

Without the fly, it distracts from the hibiscus

Lose the FLY ......it is insignificant and a distraction . If it were a colorful fruit fly or some unique species then I would reconsider the placement of it within the image. But it is Not.

Lose the fly, it's not that unique
