Never hear of this, I'll be researching to see what it's all about. One question will it work on a Mac?

Not unusual. Most people are not familiar with open source software. It's their great loss. Only look into open soucre apps if you like free software with constant improvement and no update or upgrade costs.

All software on my Acer is open source and free including hugin.

Most open source apps work on all platforms.

I downloaded 'HUGIN' on my iMac and found it to be extremely unfriendly to use!! Seemed very complex-so much so that I used PSE 10 to import my panorama group set and achieved a 'planet' panorama result which is not perfect, but I put that down to incorrect shooting technique or just software error. I could have tried again with the same set but was reasonably happy enough with my final image....

I think its a matter of what you're accustomed too. For that reason there are two versions of GIMP (GIMPhoto & GIMPshop) that are set up like PS, because that's what many are accustomed to.

I downloaded this one, and it worked well at creating the panorama....Just couldn't figure out how to get a TIF, or JPG.

wlgoode - You are quite correct.....Perhaps some perseverance might have payed off...I'm just a little impatient and enthusiastic for a result that is perhaps easily repeated. AND of course HUGIN is open source & free!!

wow~~the photo is good. I also have a panorama program, I have used it for 2 years, it's an easy to use and professional panorama program which fits the new learners best. it can also make 360 panoramas and 3d panoramas.
