Nice work Bret! Those Navy guys are rather sensitive, but they are good pilots too.
Once when visiting the Pensacola Naval Air Museum our guide through the museum, a retired Naval Aviator, asked if there were in Naval Aviators in the group. No one said a thing, but my wife proudly told him I was an Air Force Pilot. He quickly responded "They don't Count". Like I said they are a little sensitive! :) :)
By the way the Thunderbirds were originally called the "Thunder Jets"
Beautiful shots Bret. I can count the rivets in that last shot.
Great shots, and the first and last show their great formation skills. Both the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels are top drawer and make us all proud to be 'Mericans.

The Navy's got it all over the Air Force. How many times have you seen an Air Force weinee land a jet aboard an Aircraft Carrier at night in rough seas?
You failed to mention Marine Corp Pilots. Don't let jealousy stop you.
Very Nice Man....I like them !
Excellent set. I will get to see them later this year at Reno. Very looking forward to it.
There's a reason air force wings are silver - Navy wings are gold for first place!

Excellent shots. Being an Air Force vet I am partial to the Thunderbirds with the
Blue Angels a close second. I know the old Navy hands will think just the opposite.
GREAT work ! ......thanks for sharing

Me I was about 1/4 mile from the end of the runway. Both of these are rite above me.
Great shots Bret! Just where is a 1/4 mile from the end of the runway? My Son and myself were at Forest Hills Cemetery and we each got about 170 images, but haven't had time to go thru them yet. You probably know where that is on 25a right in the landing pattern for the Airshow Runway.
