Patagonia: The Upsala Overlook Trail

It's about a 3/4 mile hike up this gravel trail to the Upsala Glacier overlook. The trail itself is fascinating and I was blown away by the colors of the rock polished to a smooth sheen by glaciers thousands of years ago. It was a little precarious at times but a big thanks to our guides for many outstretched hands along the way. Time to stow toxic masculinity when a gorgeous 25 year old offers to help your old knees across the rocks!
Enjoy!
Mark

Thanks for letting us enjoy the view. The smooth striations in the first pic are different from what I've ever seen!

I considered β€œlosing” my footing and giving her a full body hug for support but mi wife would have seen right through the ploy. I always appreciate your kind comments Jim.

was it worth the climb? I would need two helping hands and someone to carry my camera.

Very nice Mark. Falling might turn a wonderful trip into a nightmare.
