This is an image I took while poking around the park shooting bison. I came across these fishermen enjoying a peaceful day fishing for some of Yellowstone's bounty. When I saw this scene, all I thought about was the peace and quiet, the sound of the river's rushing water and the local birds singing up a storm.
This is a jpeg converted from the original raw. Hope you have fun with the image.

I thought I had a chance for the "early bird" award. No such luck.
I am submitting a second one this time. After I submitted the first one I had an idea I wanted to try so here it is. I converted the photo to a black and white pencil sketch and used PS to hand paint in all of the color except for the clouds. I used a cloud brush to create those. It was a lot of fun.
This was ridiculously difficult to do using an online app. Don't give up your favored software, folks

The scene was much brighter and contrastier (is that a word?) than what the raw file showed. I love the bears you added. It gives it a touch of Yellowstone. Nice

I've used a similar approach in some of my image, but it was grainy B&W's, not sketches, then selectively painted colors back in. Using a sketch is cool and an idea I want to explore further. Great concept, including the bear.

LOL... you have to be quick on this forum for the early bird award. Nobody here lets grass grow under their feet, except maybe me. If I didn't have a better half, I'd be late to my own funeral. Thanks for sharing your view.

Cool idea, give it an explorers feel. Can you image Lewis and Clark paddling down this river? What online app did you use for this?
A little this and a little that.

Gives it that painterly effect, LOL
. I like using a photo as a base, then editing it to achieve a certain look and feel. This certainly does that. Nice edit.
Wanted to keep the integrity of the picture while adding just a couple of touches.
