What Secretary of Defense?
You seem to be the only one here that knows Trump has no Secretary of Defense'
The Secretary of Defense is the leader and chief executive officer of the United States Department of Defense, the executive department of the Armed Forces of the U.S.
The Secretary of Defense's position of command and authority over the U.S. military is second only to that of the President and Congress, respectively.
This position corresponds to what is generally known as a Defense Minister in many other countries.
The Secretary of Defense is appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate, and is by custom a member of the Cabinet and by law a member of the National Security Council

Kool-aid is not the cause; it is a symptom.
"“Drinking the Kool-Aid” is buying into something blindly and completly.
It is to foolishly accept something as fact, especially to do so stupidly or without closer examination.
To the politician, it means that a particular politician's followers mindlessly believe every word that they utter."

Obama's as well, only he gave them a 150 billion.
Obama warned Trump that pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal would lead to war and it is looking like Obama was right again. War will cost many lives and far more than 150 billion.

Interested in Iran?
In a series of tweets he said, "We were cocked & loaded to retaliate last night on 3 different sights when I asked, how many will die. 150 people, sir, was the answer from a General. 10 minutes before the strike I stopped it."
Why would the President of the United States not know how many casualties to expect before he ordered the attack?
Shouldn't he have been briefed by the Secretary of Defense or the people planning the attack before he ordered the attack?

To think President Trump did not consult with the SECDEF shows how out of touch with reality you really are. Resubmit in 30 days for final disapproval!!

I have to say the whole thing sounds a little (heck, very) theatrical, dramatic and contrived to me. Seriously... what world leader goes on Twitter to vent his opinions/anger for goodness sake? Seems to be a rather weak and hollow threat to say, "We would have shot you half an hour ago but decided to change our minds at the last minute," wreaks of insincerity and commitment. I agree, to an extent, of what his philosophy might be, but he really needs to get a grip on "world diplomacy" and become just a little more realistic on how the rest of the world functions.

If he consulted anyone why did he just find out what the expected causality count would be; only after he ordered an attack?
Anyone that doesn't know the facts before he willy-nilly starts a war is not fit to lead the United States.

He has no idea what 'world diplomacy' is; he should resign.
"Trump campaigned on withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal.
But he also campaigned on the idea that the Iraq war was a mistake and that more major wars in the Middle East like it would be a mistake.
The deep irony is that Trump has picked two foreign policy principals who champion the thinking that produced George W. Bush’s war.
The result is an increasingly dangerous standoff with Iran that could still spiral into a wider, devastating conflict."

LOL... Get used to it, he will win in 2020, you folks have a bunch of kooks running for president, the only sane ones who attempted to run were booed off the stage.
Your stupidity is no reason to whine, but you extremist jack-jobs excel in promoting your own f**e news. Get real and catch up Bozo! Wake up and face reality.

Spend some time reading and paying attention to other sources and you will learn that he had several briefings and consultations. Confirming the number of potential deaths was the right thing to do and after he did, he changed his mind.
