That is a great shot, sharp focus, I love the eye reflection. Sure it's a Jack not a cottontail?

From the length of the ears it most likely is a jackrabbit or a hare of some kind. The cottontail’s ears are shorter.

It's a regular bunny...I've taken photos of jacks in Utah and the ears are almost as tall as the rabbit. And they are big rabbits and don't take kindly to posing for out of state visitors interrupting their evening meals.
