This splits a picture into "tiles", then selects a picture from your list that best matches the color of that area of the original. I just downloaded the program yesterday and it's super user friendly.
Below is an original shot of Charlie Musselwhite at the 2012 Waterfront blues festival, then a 5000-tile mosaic, created from 311 festival pictures, then a closeup of Charlie's right sunglass lens. After only a couple of hours of playtime, I can already do one of these in less time than it took to post this subject!
