Assemblyman Vito J. Lopez, the Brooklyn Democratic leader and longtime political power broker there, has been stripped of his committee chairmanship, barred from employing young people, and censured after an Assembly committee determined that he had sexually harassed two female employees this summer.

One can only hope that the good people in Brooklyn vote him out of office, horse whip, tar and feather him and run him out of town. Anything less and he will just be more careful not to get caught and for the rest nothing will come of it.

I really cannot understand how much these people are missing in the ol' cranium. If it isn't a member of Congress, then it is a teacher, and most recently it has been a preponderance of female teacher and adolescent male student interaction.
Are these people really that stupid or what? Do they not read the newspaper and see all the cases of the teachers getting caught because the students cannot keep their mouths shut? This is wrong for them to do, of course, but what are they thinking? I wish there was a way to find out how many are not getting caught so we could get a percentaget to work with and tell these nitwits that "your chances of getting caught is ---%, so don't even think of it!" I go back on my pappy's philosophy..."admire but do not aquire!"

I read a report recently that stated that the capability to see the results of your actions is a process that is increasingly missing in people. Also, the inability for compassion, which frequently leads to sociopathy. Nature or nurture? I don't know.
