Yes, he seems to be in the right position.
Thanks for stopping by, alamomike47.
Very nice ... and he even holds her purse ...
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get the shot.
Great shot, but he's gonna need help gettin' up!

One, he is at the correct angle! Two, he holds her purse while taking the photo.
Three, his subject is too stiff! Could she have posed just a bit?
Voss, as always, nice catch

Thanks, AZNikon. Now she'll probably "give the arm."

Thanks, Jeff. She's probably not used to posing. That's how my wife does when I ask her to pose.
There's a lot to like about this image. It's a story about two people, but we know almost nothing about them, except perhaps that she is not a professional model and he is not a professional photographer.
I especially like the composition. Repetition of posts, sort of lined up along two diagonals, contrasting with the diagonal elements of the pavement. The two coffee cups on one post. The fire hydrant connecting the two leading lines formed by the four posts. The vertical column next to the woman, and the vertical downspouts, one of which happens to be growing out of the poor guy's head. The Jeep about to be towed -- or is it moving?. The white lines, all parallel -- under the window, the curbs, the crosswalk stripes. The head in the window, completing the line from the man's head to the woman's head.
There is enough in this image to keep me interested for quite some time. Well seen and well executed.
