I guess Id call myself an advanced beginner. I only dared to wander away from the Auto mode and start getting serious about learning how to take better pictures a couple of years ago. I understand some basics about exposure, but have a long way to go. Im about to read Petersons Understanding Exposure, which should help. My photographic interests are travel (including landscapes and city shots) and food. I look forward to lots of learning on this great site!

Hi there...and welcome to UHH. Nice to see someone from the local area. I live in the N bay area. I'm new here myself. beem lurking a couple of weeks to scope it out. Very knowledgeable group here it seems. I hope to learn a lot here.
