For those states without caucuses and/or conventions, the local and county party delegates are chosen by primary e******ns. Delegates hopefuls are listed on the b****t just as any other politcal candidate. Each party's national committee decides on the number of delegates to the two national conventions. It's strictly a party matter.

For Congressional seats (House or Senate), those candidates are chosen in similar matters. Some states require a certain number of petition signatures to gain a place on the b****t, others use the convention or caucus methods to nominate candidates. As with convention procedures, the primaries are pretty much a party show. E******n laws as to v***r r**********n, etc., are in effect.

Some states even have open primaries, i.e. you can cross over to v**e for a nominee in another party. However, you usually have to v**e the entire party ticket when you do.

There is a record of Trump's performance. Near 100 Conservative judge appointments, lowest unemployment for b****s in history, same for hispanics, GDP growth at 2-3 times that under Obama, a US friendly NAFTA rework, same with pacific trade, out of the farcical Iran 'deal', pressuring China instead of kissing their ^&#$, calling biased media to account, defending free speech for citizens online and elsewhere, removing business-stifling regulation, achieving a concession from Mexico concerning central American immigrant caravans...... Average Americans like all of that, and offering up the endless taxation proposed by Democrats is likely the best push for Trump in 2020.
