In February of this year I caught this empty sand train at the Tonville Siding near Barr Lake east of Denver, CO. I'm posting this to remind folks not too long ago we were wondering when summer would arrive. The sand is used in oil drilling operations in northern Colorado.

That is a great shot. With the snow, blue lighting, and the heat swirling round the engine, I almost feel the cold.
