We just returned from a road trip to southern Idaho. Our itinerary included stops at:
• Hanford Reach National Monument (Washington)
• Palouse Falls State Park (Washington)
• Hell’s Canyon Scenic Byway (Oregon)
• Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument (Idaho)
• Shoshone Falls (Twin Falls State Park Idaho)
• Craters of the Moon National Monument (Idaho)
• Malad Gorge State Park (Idaho)
Unfortunately, the first part of the trip did not work out too well. There was a problem with air quality due to the massive wildfires in Alberta, Canada. My wife has COPD and Lung Cancer so frequent stops were not practical, possibly dangerous.
In addition, I am digital dexterity challenged which causes me to accidentally change unknown settings to interesting values. My early pictures could not even pass for art. I had to reset the camera to factory defaults. That posed a problem as the procedure for doing the reset are not in the manual. I wound up finding the procedure online and did the reset. I was in too big of a hurry and set the clock incorrectly – if the Exif says AM, it really is PM for the indicated day while PM is really AM for the next day.
If everybody is now sufficiently confused, here are a few of the pictures:
Beautiful country out there

Thank you. No. 6 is Shoshone Falls, sometimes called the Niagara of the West.

Thanks. She is improving following chemo, radiation, and a couple of months into immunotherapy.

Very nice tour!
Thank you,
With my dexterity problems, I hit send prematurely. I had intended to label the pictures and include some others. I will do that a little later - after my vision clears following a visit to my eye doctor
You traveled to and through some magnificent country and these shots show it well. I visited Shoshone Falls in April and it was truly magnificent. Beautiful series.
Nice captures, shoe...love Shoshone Falls and the Malad gorge!!
