Great history behind the flag-raising in Iwo Jima including Joe Rosenthal (photographer) receiving the Pulitzer Prize in 1945 for the iconic photo and one of the best-known photographs of the war.

Yes there is. As a combat Marine in Vietnam and having two vials of Iwo Jima sand from two Marines who visited there I am well aware of the history of that sacred, to Marines, Island.
