epic wardrobe and hair styling... superb use of chiaroscuro... such breathtakingly beautiful facial features... agency material for sure... iconic near Rembrandt illumination and with such a poignant gaze...

and what RichardTaylor said... a viewer's eye is drawn first to brightness then to the area of highest acuity... those parameters have been cast in stone throughout antiquity... study the works of the masters and you will see this echoed in spades...

Thank you for sharing this enchanting rendering of such a gorgeous granddaughter Dave Chinn... it is so beautifully done...

Thanks Thomas !!! It's a pleasure to get your thoughtful, accurate response. It is much appreciated.

The first thing I noticed was her beautiful face and hair. To get a more striking picture try cropping just above her thumb and to the 3rd bar from her hair, the nearest bar has hair covering it. I gave it a go and the result gives real impact to her.. I can post if you like..

Thank you Val. I appreciate your compliment to Dalilah's face & hair. Your suggestive cropping tip would work, but my thoughts was not to chop off any limbs. I have in the past, but chose not with this one. Altho, I would like to see your cropped version, so yes, post away !!!

Dave, I'm with Richard on this one. It certainly reflects your incredible style, but the bright bits are a bit too bright.

Thanks Val, certainly a different view for sure. I think maybe why I didn't crop this one as tight was because I have other images that were actually taken tight without the need to crop. I appreciate your vision with this image and do like your cropped version.

Thank Dave, I do like your full picture. She has such a beautiful face and I imagine dark brown eyes. I loved the way she is in shadow and has the light on her hair and such a beautiful shaped mouth. She will be a stunner when older and break a few lads hearts I think...

Thanks Dennis !!! You are correct, it is unusual for a 4 year old. She is such a busy body, which I'm sure most at that age are. Once she paused is when I had the chance to capture this image. Altho, it did take patience to keep observing her for this unique opportunity.

Dave,
I’m glad to hear that this shot was the fruit of your patient waiting. Such a pose and expression is usually unanticipated resulting the “lost moment” .

Your prescient preparation and patience really paid off!

Lovely picture Dave. The subtly of light and texture really compliment the image. Nice cropping and general pose... you have created a memorable image and one to look back on with pride.
