Yesterday I took a drive up Little Cottonwood Canyon (Utah). Our great snowpack is starting to melt and the flow is about three times normal. The attached photos are tourist friendly (no more than 50 yards of hiking involved because at 80 high altitude hiking is held to a minimum).

Thanks for sharing Mike. Wish I lived in Utah to capture the beauty that you have.

It is wonderful to see images from Little Cottonwood Canyon. I skied many times at Alta and Snowbird almost 50 years ago now. I think I could dig back into my color slide archives and find an image identical to your last one of the view looking down the canyon to the valley.

Nice set and thanks for sharing.

Nice shots, Mike. I like your settings that for me give a more accurate depiction of the rushing water. I am not a fan of long exposure times that render the water as a gray blanket. Nice.

I appreciate the kind words,Stan. This is one of the reasons we moved to Utah (in addition to skiing).

Thanks for looking and commenting. If I have time, I will post a shot of the ski slopes on June 11 (still good).
