This is as bad a topic as RAW vs. JPEG. We all must be pretty bored... No real answer, as each fulfill a perceived need of the user.

Windows is good and fulfills the majority of computer users' needs. Mac OS is good, and satisfies many. Wonderful. Whatever works for you.
What I cannot fathom is why people will pay Apple too-high prices for hardware that is crap. If Mac OSX could run on PC hardware (without extreme hacks as some say you can do), I'd bet many people would just buy OSX and dump Apple hardware.
