Actually the author must have made some good money from doing these two videos as he had over 300,000 views on one test and over 750,000 views on the second video.

Anyone know what u-tube pays to the video producers?

It would be interesting to know if it was worth it for all the work he did.

not sure how it works, but it's no get rich scheme, as he has put a lot of work into it, he has a niche that needed filling and he seems genuine in his desire to find out which is better, and to tell us in the real world his findings, I think it's more about subscribers and likes, and of course the Patreon are paying supporters

I too have been using eneloops for the last, say, 15 years and I'm very happy with their performance. So, I will certainly not be moving on to other ones. This test of this guy really doesn't tell me nothing, I value real usage performance over some playing with a charger! I have used the in his test so highly regarded Duracell batteries and did find them severely under performing ( so I moved on rather fast from them)!

The most important speciation to me is the idle retention and leak performance. The eneloops seem to be very good at maintaining their charge and of course are leak proof. I have used them for at least 6 years and have been very happy with them.
