Rare Golden Lady Slipper

On condition that I not disclose the location near Sheffield, Mass., in 2016 I was permitted to shoot several exotic native plants, including this golden lady slipper. I redid this D7000 raw shot, having learned a bit since 2016.

Minnesota, Itasca State park, they are common there. It's the official state flower.

I just saw (and shot) one of these in an orchid garden. Are they an orchid? This is lovely. I hope mine is as good!
