And a few more

Page 23: In retrospect, something about images nos. 1 and 3 sock it to me, love the one of little Frankie dancing with her daddy. The joy is written all over her sweet little face. I'm the daddy of a little girl too so I don't need to tell you that daddy's ultimate delight is seeing his little baby happy.

Thank you so much for your kind comments...you brought tears to my eyes. I am actually standing on his feet and you are right, I was "in heaven" when dancing with him. He was a very special man and I bet you are a wonderful father as well. In the 3rd picture the children were learning songs in Vacation Bible School. I love the sound of children singing.

Page 24: Sure, I do the best I can for Nina, but I can't possibly measure up to that remarkable man, your father. I will always remember that image; the joy and excitement is so clearly visible on your face.
The children in Vacation Bible School were so sweetly innocent and sincere---what a pity we can't retain that when we grow up.
quote=Frankie quote=subroto mukerji quote=Frank... (show quote)

I believe that you sell yourself short and I am sure Nina believes you to be a wonderful man and excellent father.
quote=subroto mukerji quote=Frankie quote=subro... (show quote)

Well, maybe a little, now that I'll be gifting her my almost new (and juicily red-coloured) Nikon Coolpic P500 -- she's fallen for it hard, don't blame her one bit, spent an hour last evening going over its features with her :-))
quote=Frankie quote=subroto mukerji quote=Frank... (show quote)

See there, I knew I was right!! And you can't fool me...it isn't just about the camera (although I am sure that helps :lol: ).

well it's a big curve to learn but a master will teach

Master?...who,me ? Nina has an M.Phil in Art, Aesthetics and Cinema Studies and is already at a much higher level than I can ever reach...
Novice though she is, all she has to do is to figure out how the camera's features / software can be best used to capture her inner vision.
William, the unsung genius, is a case in point; I'm sure his camera isn't the latest 36 MP D800 or the new SooperDooperPooper 50 Mp Xs1-9000VXL, but can any of those D800 / D4 guys come anywhere close to him and his art? Not in a million years !
Chief Sitting Bull has spoken.

Yes, William, thanks, but that's The Beatles. They mark a watershed in music. They :thumbdown: the Elvis Presley / Cliff Richard puffy forelocks and colourful outfits by going the other way (see the cover of the ''Abbey Road" album)...and their music was unlike anything that had gone before them. The rest, as they say, is history.

Dang this is music

Now if those were tap dancing shoes, they'd be something unique. Instead, they are perfect for dancing - I feel the beat.
