Well that was a close call

Earlier today I spotted this alligator come walking up out of the marsh pond and onto a paved roadway. At the same time I saw a truck approaching. The truck not only did not stop, the guy was not even slowing down. So I yelled loudly as he got closer...Yo! Stop! (it was the only thing that came to mind at the time)
So the guy does stop and happy Mr. Gator continued on safely.
However, he must have needed to catch his breath after the close call because he layed down for a couple minutes before heading off on it's way.

Well, I stopped & moved a box turtle off the road today. No photo though & the story doesn't have the impact yours does, but we all do our bit. By the way nice shots & keep up the good Samaritan stuff Swamp Gator
