I converted some color photos to black and white. For these I lean toward the B&W. Let me know which you like better. Comments on composition are also welcome. I have limited access to PP having only elements10 as my program. Thanks for looking
Overall I like the B&Ws best, out of those the third on best.
B&W for me, especially the last one. BTW, I’ll be heading “home” to Nebraska (Lincoln and Omaha) next week and will be looking to shoot these type of images. I’m looking forward to it! It’s been over three years since I’ve been back.

Thanks but these were taken in the Ennis Montana area, there are plenty of these kind of photos in Ne.

It's personal preference and taste but in most cases I prefer color in landscapes because that's what my eye sees and the way the world is, or so I tell myself. That preference is the case with your photos also which I like very much.

Thank you for your input I will keep both sets
Certainly, the third one is best in monochrome! The others.....color has some merit but O wouldn't drop the monochromes.
I normally like color, however, because of the subject matter, I believe B&W tells a better story.
I too like b&w, but, being new to landscapes I'm curious how some of you handle the 'heighth issues. In other words, if y ou don't have natural terrain around to assist, do you all pack big ladders to add flexibility?
I welcome different perspectives.
