Just as I feel when I see people on the street corner all over America now, if they are smoking or have a pet I just don't see the, "need" for my help. When I was a cop I talked to a number of these people. Not all of course but for many this is their employment. Some make pretty good money at it too. Poor, not hardly. Again, this is not all of these people but I let others who apparently have the money to waste, sort that out. In an economy that President Trump gave us there are plenty of jobs to go around IF you want to work. Still, many people do not want to work. Why work when the welfare payments in I believe 37 states gives the recipient the minimum wage or greater. OR why declare any work you do to bring in extra cash. The government makes it only too easy to collect money while NOT working.

Then you mention someone from India who is seeking asylum. And they come here because India is suffering a heat wave, you say. So you are telling us it is acceptable for someone to come across our border illegally OR by claiming asylum because it is temporarily hot in their native country. That my friend is about the most ridiculous thing I have heard here in The Attic for, oh my gosh, maybe a week or so. Of course you and yours will blame President Trump for the death of the child. I mean, REALLY, if the U.S. Border Patrol had sent out officers across the Mexican desert leading to America with medical officers, food and water the girl might have been alive today. Damn those Border Patrol officers, huh? Of course had the parents not brought her on the perilous journey, KNOWING that people die, things might have turned out better. Perhaps had they only claimed asylum status somewhere in Mexico the young lady would be alive today.

The problem with all of your posts in this thread is that you tend to make it somehow someone else's fault that these people come here illegally. No matter why they come there are other avenues they could have taken. Yet you Liberals tend to blame America and President Trump for your and their inability to come here legally.

Just yesterday a spokesman from America stated that 90% of those coming across the border who have been given court dates to appear, simply do not appear at all. Let me try again for those who read slowly. 90% of those people allowed into America do NOT appear in court. That is the so called honest i*****l a***ns you and your L*****t friends continue telling us are just poor people who want to come to America to do well for their families. Of course anybody with a lick of common sense, look it up as you don't seem to have a clue what that means, would say these people, at least 90% of them are simply gaming the system to come here illegally. And since they did not show up in court, they ARE here illegally.

I find your opening sentence of: The question of WHY people come to the United States, no matter how they get here is important to know, is just so much BS. People have always been able to come here simply by putting their name on the list of those coming here legally. Yet for the past 50 years with an ineffective, feckless Congress people from around the world have simply been coming across our sovereign border with impunity. You are correct. Ellis Island did turn some people away. Everyone wanting to come here was not accepted. But now the Left wants, or does not care, everyone to come across our border. MS gang members, disease ridden, those with absolutely no sk**ls at anything, ANYBODY is welcome. With the sanctuary cities protecting even the criminal element, just about everybody is welcome to the open borders granted by the Left against the current rule of law. This shows that the Left has no respect for the rule of law except that which protects them. But let's remember one important factor with the Left. They are trying purposely to shut down the American system. They are purposely wanting these i*****l a***ns to flood our border so as to effectively shut down a working system. No matter what happens, if these i*****l a***ns start to r**t or assault Border Patrol/ICE personnel and are shot, no matter what, it will all be on President Trump and his supposed inability to handle the situation. Of course they will whine and cry for the victim while telling us it is all Trump's fault even if it is the Left that is bringing these thousands upon thousands of i******s here. Going against American values and the rule of law is prevalent among the Left Wingers now and believe me, they are proud of it.

Please go into detail about why America should continue borrowing money from China only to give that money as a gift to foreign countries. How about those foreign countries borrowing money from China to give to their leaders rather than to the people who live there? It is relatively easy to smack down Liberals. The big problem though is that they just don't care. They are an emotional group and think about how they feel rather than the rule of law. They accuse President Trump of going against the U.S. Constitution when it is actually they who are going against the Constitution. Liberals want to do away with the 2nd Amendment with many if not most of the Democratic P**********l candidates actually telling us that they will confiscate firearms. Consider how we used to have the 1st Amendment guaranteeing us free speech. Now the Liberals are for free speech but ONLY if that speech goes along with their beliefs or agenda. Otherwise what is known as free speech to the rest of us is considered, H**e Speech, to Liberals and should not be allowed. Aggression is not only tolerated but actually encouraged IF it is toward Trump supporters. But anything against Liberals is a violent attack against their rights and the aggressors should be imprisoned.

Look back to the 1930's in Germany and you will see the exact same behavior with the Hitler youth groups. They spoke out against the Jews, saying it was Jews who were getting rich while keeping others from getting their fair share. Jews and anybody who supported Jews and fair play were beaten. Carry that on to today and you will find Jews have been replaced with Conservatives and Republicans. Even President Obama is on record as speaking out against Fox News, the one major news outlet that supports the Conservative values. Imagine a U.S. President speaking out against a major news network trying to shut it down.

Yes, President Trump speaks out against major news networks but not to shut them down but only to have them publish real news stories rather than f**e news. That is all everyone should want from the news, the t***h. If President Trump screws up I expect the news, all news outlets, to put that information out there. But when he does well I also expect that news to be out there for all Americans to see. We have a right to all news, even the good things that President Trump accomplishes. The major news outlets are not giving us that news. They carry on the Liberal agenda of doing their best to make Trump look bad at every opportunity. Even the First Lady, who hasn't done anything wrong has been the brunt of their attacks regarding such important topics as her shoes, dress code for the Queen of England (the Queen didn't seem to find any fault with her dress), her wearing of sunglasses and so on. Even Baron Trump has been the subject of attacks from the Left as has been every member of Trump's family. Seemingly all are corrupt, criminal and anti American. How funny it is actually who support the Constitution and the rule of law while the Left does not.

You're so worried about 2nd Amendment rights when there are mass shootings nearly daily in the United States? How many more innocent lives need to be lost before as a country we take action to get guns off of our streets?

There is a difference between weapons used for hunting for food, and those considered to be military style assault weapons, and those with high capacity magazines.

There is no longer a need for a m*****a in this country, we already have multiple branches of the military, the various branches also have their Reserve Forces, and we have the National Guard. If more able bodies are needed, then we can go back to using the draft system for more people to protect our country.

As far as the 1st ammendment goes, trump is trying to silence ALL media outlets that don't cover his agenda, and he's trying to turn Faux News into a State run network. His claims of f**e news started out as a campaign gimmick, but now he actually believes that all news reported by any news outlet except Faux News is f**e news. He can't possibly expect that 100% of the news reported about him will spun in a positive light, especially with all of his screw ups! The news outlets are not there to boost trump's ego!

Real news doesn't emanate from trump, it's mostly lies that spew forth from his mouth, or his twitter finger! trump is always lying and screwing up.

Nothing he's done has benefitted the American V**er. Those tax cuts were a smoke screen for the Uber rich to get richer on the backs of those who can least afford to pay higher taxes. The trade wars and tariffs are costing the average taxpayer around $3,000 per year at the current tariff rates with what amounts to taxation without representation in the higher costs of goods sold.

If trump bothered to learn the protocols of the Office of POTUS, he wouldn't be the laughing stock among World Leaders that he's become. The trump family will NEVER be looked upon like the Kennedy's were in their day. You can forget about the trump airlines reverse color scheme for the new Air Force One planes!

I am fully aware of the child dying in the desert. I did not dispute your claim. It is not incredulous as you seem to think of my feelings about it. Just a few days ago I read where another child, possibly the very same one but it doesn't sound like the same situation, died in the desert and the people who were with her just left her body there. Really, who does that. If my children died on such a trek I would not leave the body there. I would do wh**ever it took to make sure the child was buried properly.

Oh I agree that they may not all have Internet but they sure have friends and neighbors who keep others informed as to what is going on.
