My six year old grandson has developed an interest in grabbing my daughter's phone and wanting to "video tape" (he wants to become a famous YouTuber!) so I took him out one day gave him my Olympus sz12 (has a video mode) to use and of course I had my Canon and tried to show him a little camera fun...
The first is a short video that he shot laying down looking over a waterfall, while MomMom has a deathgrip on the waistband of his pants....children have no fear of danger when their curiosity is in full drive...
All except the two of him with the camera...all the credit goes to him.
It was a most wonderful day, he managed to shoot a half dozen videos and a few photos...at the end of the day, his response..."MomMom that was fun...when can we go out again!"
My six year old grandson has developed an interest... (show quote)

Don't you just love their enthusiasm and creativity?

Haha trigger happy HwG. Just an idea try and think about the shot you want and compose it in the viewfinder then press the shutter and move on. Digital cameras have taken some of the skill out of Photography by allowing us to take 100's of shots then just picking the good one or two.
So tomorrow go on your 2 hour walk stop every 20 minutes but you are only going to take 4 shots each stop time and when you get home you will have 20 well composed shots, then edit them and see how you do. Make them all keepers no deleting. Much more fun than going through and deleting 100's of half decent snaps.
Let me know how you do
Birthday was spent working but may get to do somet... (show quote)

To me, there is nothing more fun or colorful than photographing a carnival. The color and movement makes for good shots. Don't get me wrong, I love flowers, birds and landscapes, but color and action are exciting and fun!!!

p6. and you proved it to be so!

Spent the morning at a "Biker's Breakfast" and SHow. Our church hosts a free breakfast and motorcycle show every June at the beginning of New England's big motorcycle races and events in Loudon, NH. This is the Red White Blue series.

Thank you! I can't stand spiders but their webs covered with early morning dew are literally works of art.

Dead center of the original
structure before the current
additions. Prolly was two or
more rooms, now one huge
great room. Not my house.
