Great images and wonderful cars. Now if current day Ferrari could just find the way to beat Mercedes at least occasionally, Formula 1 races would be more fun to watch.

Amen to that! They’ve got a good opportunity tomorrow in Canada.

Thanks for these, having been a Ferrari fan since forever, always enjoy seeing them. You’re right about that sound, it’s amazing, unlike the food processor sound of today’s F1 cars. Then there were the V12s . . .

Incredible RPM's those F1 engines can obtain! Great captures of the cars on track!

Thank you for your comments Bill. I agree with your sentiments about Formula 1 as well, especially since I'm a Ferrari fan.

Thank you for the comments Frank; I'm glad you appreciate them. I've been a Ferrari fan for a long time too. The sound IS amazing, especially standing next to the car in the garage. I went to the first USGP in Austin (2012) and our seats were at turn 12, the end of the long back straight. The sound of 20+ 2.4 liter normally aspirated V-8s at 19,000 RPM was glorious. There is something very special about the sound of a normally aspirated V-12 though.

Thank you for your comments FL Streetrodder. They were pushing 21-22,000 RPM, but the rules were changed to limit them to "only" 18,000 to help keep the costs down and improve reliability.
