I have been using ON1 for a few months now. I recently did an upgrade and I have had nothing but problems. When I open it I go to the home page and it freezes and I get this banner:
ON1 Develop 2019 outside of this Application.
Click on ON1 Develop 2019 in dock and then press Apply or cancel inside of ON1 Develop2019 to this application.
I haven't got the faintest idea as to where to go from there. I tried accessing "HELP" and I'm only directed go a list of possible issues, none of which are helpful. Does anybody have any ideas? Your feedback would be very much appreciated.
I had an issue and emailed them. The response was quick and helpful.
I had so problems also and it wouldn't correct so they gave me my money back Love the program only fi
Try removing the program and reinstall, I have ON1 and the latest version and have no problems it could have been a corrupted download or during the download your antivirus software caused an issue I would try the reinstall first and if that does not work contact ON1 as suggested they respond very quickly, good luck it is a very good raw editor and is going to give LR a run for its money.

I’m running the latest version of ON1 Photo Raw 2019.5 and counter to the success of others so far, I am plagued by freezes and abrupt crashes. A quick visit to the ON1 forums will reveal that I am not alone and there’s a pretty upset community out there not only with this issue but also ON1’s slowness in incorporating lens profiles. ON1 has acknowledged the issues and claims to working diligently to solve them and issue another release soon. The most often rumored reason reason is something to do with the Intel graphics chipset in some GPUs. In the meantime, their recommended solution is to reinstall 2019.2. I think but not sure, it’s the Windows version and not Mac.

I can’t get ON1 to install on my Windows 10 laptop. Their support people offered several suggestions, but nothing worked. I even tried installing it in safe mode. Of course, I couldn’t get Nikon’s Capture NX-D to install either. It says it’s installed, but can’t find it anywhere. Any suggestions?

I'm assuming you searched in the "Program Files" folder, NOT the x86 one? You should see an "ON1" folder, inside that a "ON1 Photo Raw 2019" folder. Go into that folder and you should see the "ON1 Photo RAW 2019" application (16,340 KB). Right click on it to "Create a Shortcut", then drag the shortcut to the desktop or start menu. Do you get any error messages at all? Besides the Nikon Capture NX-D, are you seeing the same thing with anything you try to install?
Another place to check.... go into settings and see if ON1 is listed in your applications. If it's there, see that it's version 13.5.0.7007.

The only programs I am having problems with are ON1 and the Nikon software. I have looked everywhere for those programs and they are not installed on my computer. I've been a heavy PC user for over 30 years and have never encountered this problem. And there are no error messages. I recently installed InPixio, RawTherapee, Photo Pos Pro 3, and FastStone with no problems. I have used paint.net for years with no issues (not great for Raw), and played around with GIMP. I'm trying to find if there is a free one that I can understand and use.
