The state flower of PA is the Kalmia or the common name the Mountain Laurel. The main colors are either a light pink or white. Then the hybridizers discovered this plant and everything changed. As a hybridizer myself I can appreciate the time and effort put in here because it takes me about six years to flower a rhododendron and these plants are similar. Here are a few of the plants. Sorry I have lost name tags so identification is also lost. Also my fence has been compromised and the deer ate back all my original God hybridized plants so for now I have no comparison plants but they will be in all the plant books. None here are color enhanced and the last two are shown in their prime location here on Mushrush Road.

It looks like the sharpness is not quite there, especially on the first one. 1/30 shutter speed is pretty low for your lens. A tripod would help a lot, or a higher shutter speed.
