I liked the old Gooney Bird as we use to call the C-47, While stationed in Korea in 1954, I flew as a Crew Chief on one, had 350 hours of flight time in it, it was a great aircraft.

Very nice shots. I too have spent several hours looking around the museum on our way to or from the beach. My dad was stationed there from 1956 to 1962. Many of the planes in the museum were modern aircraft when we were there. Brings back a lot of memories. I always enjoyed my time at Dover.

I appreciate all the kind words. It is a nice place to visit, but not the best layout for photography. There isn't enough space for all the planes they have there.
Jan, it's about a 20 minute ride for me so it's nice to stop by for short visits.
