We went to Palm Springs for a golf outing and found ourselves with a little extra time so we went exploring. We happened upon the Coachella Valley Wild Bird Center, but they were closed or so the sign said. Taking a chance we turned in and followed the dirt drive to the lonely office building with one car parked in front. The sign on the door said "knock, if I don't answer I'am out back" After knocking and waiting we proceeded around the building where I found great opportunity to practice photographing through wire cages. These fledgling owls were just to cute not to share.
