We feed the birds and the coopers hawk comes to feed on the birds. We see him once or twice every month. The visits usually only last a couple of minutes. More often than not he leaves hungry. The song birds scatter to hide in the bushes as soon as he shows up and my wife and I reach for our cameras. Looks very intense and fierce especially in the last couple of shots!

These dudes tend to up the heart rates of other birds and photogs alike. Nice pix for sure!
