Flowers are just one of the warm weather benefits but they are certainly a beautiful treat and they give me great pleasure.

I use Affinity and have been working to improve my pp. These are all close to accurate shots but the subtle enhancements using layers and masks makes a difference.

Of course you know I'm drawn immediately to your texturized background image Great job with keeping details in all the white flowers, especially the contrasts in #3.

Thank you, Linda! I'm finally making progress with masking and using textures. It can do wonders for a so,so background.

Thank you, Frank. Since it is so miserably hot it is good that we get at least some rewards! The natural back light in the first shot is what drew me to that particular flower.

I do like that red flower. You captured it perfectly and I like the darker lines in the peddles leading you into it's center. Looks like you found this one at it's peak. They are all good but that's what I tend to do ... look for that one shot that stands out, that catches the eye, this is it. Cheers

Thank you! The amaryllis was from my own garden and I caught this one early on the morning it first opened. I'm really glad you enjoyed it's beauty.

Thank you, Sue. I have several amaryllis but the reds are the most impressive.

Fabulous set, Carol! You and the Old Hippy (Ed Brown) are my floral inspiration.
