There were doubters along the long promised path of Kodak’s reintroduction of Ektachrome 100 in 35mm. But it’s out there now along with Ektachrome 16mm movie and Super-8 movie. Kodak is still alive somewhere in Rochester because they’ve just announced test coating of wide format Ektachrome 100 for next month with release of 120 Ektachrome to follow. I suppose a 220 version is a little bit too much to hope for.
