Somebody Very Strange.

Apparently, some very strange person has arrived in the UK. I had a real problem with who it was as the TV and Radio stations did not mention anything other than a huge cruise ship had crashed into the quay in Venice.
It turns out that this strange person was the US president, there is hardly any coverage about this event and the usual programmes were not interrupted as can happen with disasters etc.
I have spent nearly all day installing a new TV aerial so I have seen more programmes than usual so I am certain I have not missed anything about this individual, must be some sort of non-event.
As I type this a 5-second piece was shown about Trump visiting Buckingham Palace, this was immediately followed by lots of coverage about Liverpool FC.
BBC and ITV have certainly got their priorities right.

It finally hit the news here in the US yesterday. The news showed the POTUS speech, the Queen's speech, & video of them together on several occasions.
