I'm considering adding this tool as my Nikon D3100 does NOT include an AEB function. I also want to try time-lapse.

Does anyone have any experience with this tool?

I have one and I love it. I use it for HDR, TIME-LAPSE, AND FOCUS STACKING. It will do other things also, but these are the main things I use it for.

Thanks, bfphoto! The only (major) thing lacking in my D3100 is an AEB function. The Promote Control will automate that for me.

I ordered it a couple of days ago from B&H with an arrival date of 8/29 (+/-). I'm looking forward to playing with it.

I did not order the hot shoe or the tripod holder. (My wife can sew me one of those.) How long is the shutter release cable?
