As far as the photos, IMHO the first one would’ve presented better had the subject been completely in the frame. The same for that last image of the rear end of the ‘55.

True....But not taken by me, my brother in law snapped 'em up with his cell phone
Nice shots Tom!! But I can't tell if it is a 1955 or 1956 BelAir without seeing hood ornament or complete rear end?? I would guess"55". Thanks for sharing
It's hard to tell--the grill appears to be custom so can't tell from that. I'd have to guess 1956 because there is no gas door on the left rear fender which distinguished the 1955 from the 1956. But there are a few modifications made on this so it's hard to tell.
Any ideas as to the function of the 3 stick shifts? I'm hoping one is for eco mode and another is for activating the carbon filter. These old gas guzzlers spew CO2 and particulate matter finer than our lungs can handle big time. Sadly, it looks like the owner is still driving it rather than putting it in a museum.
You are apparently to young to know what you are talking about. Time would be wasted on you explaining the 3 sticks you don't need to know . You can start running your mouth about emissions when they ground the air industry we can talk. If you are not interested in the subject go pedal your bike.
Right on MSW. “They want us to do as they say-not as they do” Those beautiful photos of the gorgeous red 55’ Chevy could start a major discussion here.

I am guessing about the 3 "shifter Levers" Black handle is the auto tranny shifter in park. One of the others is a parking brake, and the other is a boost of some kind. (maybe the flux capacitor)
Yes, taillights are '55. The '56 had the gas filler under the left taillight and there was a lever above the light to open it. But they did do away with the stock gas filler door that it typically on the '55 so my guess is they are using some special fuel for that engine.

I doubt if he will be driving it in Canada! That is not an old gas guzzler. It is a classic, a piece of beauty; and if it was mine I would blow CO2 all over the place. What a beauty!!! And for that matter, a great image!!!!
